So tickets for Games 1 and 2 of the NBA Finals go on sale in fifteen minutes, and I decided to take a stroll down to the box office. I guess I was naive for thinking that people have day jobs and know that they can use the Internet to buy tickets.
Not for nothing, but I’m pretty sure that the pool of tickets that these people are going for is the same pool that I’m trying for with my broadband connection. I’m thinking that maybe 200 people in line will end up with tickets, and the rest will end up going home with nothing but a sweaty ass. Keep in mind the line in the above picture is only half of the line, and I bet you every person in it still uses dial up.
Update: After hitting F5 continuously, I wasn’t able to get into the Ticketmaster website until 2:05. By then all of the tickets were gone. At 3 I walked by the Garden and there were at least a thousand people still in line. Management must be giving out consolation handys or something because I don’t know why people were still in line.
You people in Boston need to get a life. The fanaticism in that city is truly pathetic especially considering how many problems the city has overall.
Beside, you clowns are gonna get swept anyway. Kobe is a stone cold killer.
Celtics in 6. Vanessa Curry will be leading the parade through Government Center.
