I’m by no means anything close to a hipster. As far as music goes, typically I don’t buy anything until a band has put out at least three albums that I love. Love, not like, because if I want shitty music I’ll turn on the radio.

As far as live music is concerned, I’ve got a set rotation that’s been going on for almost a decade now (am I that fucking old?). The Boss, U2, Pearl Jam, and the Rolling Stones. I know you’re surprised about the Stones, but trust me, if you can pry Mick Jaggers mouth off of David Bowie’s cock long enough, they put on one hell of a live show. Oh, and when they hand the microphone over to Keith Richards for a song, that’s when you hit the head.

Up until now everything has been fine, I mean I’ve had a solid rotation going. Like most things in my life, the music aspect fell into a routine. Well, now I’ve got a problem.

To get right to the point, U2’s new single “Get On Your Boot” is one of the shitiest singles the band has ever put out…ever, ever. As far as I know, Apple won’t be jamming this shit down our throat in non-stop Ipod commercials, so hopefully the song will just go away.
