ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) ? A Palm Beach County woman told police she crashed her car into her boyfriend’s truck to prevent him from driving drunk. The sheriff’s office reports that a 33-year-old woman was charged Thursday for the April 13 crash.

That night, authorities said the woman put her two children, ages 7 and 1, into her car and went looking for her boyfriend. She eventually found him sitting in his truck in a Winn-Dixie parking lot. That’s when authorities said she pulled up to the truck and rammed it, her children still in the car with her.

The woman was charged with aggravated battery and two counts of child abuse. She was being held without bail.

It’s funny how these things happen – and always at a Winn-Dixie or a Publix. Does it make any sense what so ever to get into an accident to prevent an accident, especially when you have two up and coming Rednecks in the back seat? I mean you have the pride and joy of your white trash culture in the back seat and you put them in harms way? This woman is a disgrace. She should have left the children in the bar, then went out and hit her boyfriend’s car to prevent him from drunk driving.

In all seriousness, this makes about as much sense as my friend’s grandfather who didn’t want his wife to smoke. So he would stay up all night smoking her Lucky Strikes so she wouldn’t have any in the morning. He then developed lung cancer and got dead. Maybe the trash can or the toilet would have been a better solution?
