I’ll tell you right now that death isn’t a laughing matter. Which reminds me of a story my father’s second cousin told me (he’s a funeral director).

His friend was a pharmacist down the street from the funeral home. The funeral home was at the top of a hill, and one day they were wheeling a stiff out to the hearse. For whatever reason nobody was paying attention and the coffin eluded them. It was on that wheeled cart they use, and it started rolling down the hill. Down the hill and right through the store front window of the pharmacy.

The window shattered and the pharmacy was a mess. It was at that moment that the customer at the counter turned to my father’s second cousin’s pharmacist friend and said….

“You got anything for this coughin’”

So maybe death is funny. Which would explain this collection of tombstones I put together.
