Sometimes things get lost in translation. Such is the case with the Turkish version of “Flip This House”.

Someone should have explained that by “flip” we actually mean get financing on a piece of shit house with no money down, fix it up a bit, then try to sell it for a profit a month later. However, the key part to performing a successful American flip is the house must be located in a distraught gangbanger neighborhood in California that nobody would ever want to live in. Oh, and you also need to forget to factor in the real estate agent’s commission, which will the lead to you losing money on the “flip”.
