I am sure it was a horrific time in your life, but it is great to see that you seem to be getting over it so well.

Hopefully you find my earlier questions interesting enough to answer sometime soon.

Could you also explain why your Amputees In Hollywood profile (Autumn) says you lost your leg in Dec 2005, and you are 22, while your very recent (July 13) post in DC says your are 21 and lost your leg in March 2008?
I am sure many here would like to understand that inconsistency.

I guess it is things like that that have some people questioning your reality.

It’s okay & you’re absolutely forgiven – I’m sorry to everyone for being cranky the other day It’s just been really weird, to put it mildly, to have people I’ve never even met suggest that I’m not real and what I went through (my accident) as not being real. As you can probably imagine, that was a totally horrific time in my life that was all to real.

Although they were interesting you’re questions didn’t make me uncomfortable — people can ask me anything, so I don’t mind. I’m just glad some questions are finally starting to roll in! I was worried there for a while I’d be talking to myself each Friday!

Victoresq explained it fairly well. There are LOTS of fake people on the net. Some claim to be amputees, even though they are not, and that REALLY bugs me. I was also given misinformation by another person who claimed to have seen your ‘video’ on youtube. That you are so comfortable talking about your amputation is MOST unusual.

Since this particular thread is about your missing leg,
and since you said “Keep the questions coming guys ”
I obliged. Unfortunately some saw that as stalking??

I apologize if the questions made you uncomfortable.
They seem to be a LOT less personal than “But how has sex been since you lost your leg?” asked by Rob19.
Why not get ‘the elephant out of the room’, since I am sure many here are curious about what affect your residual limb has on your life. It doesn’t define you, but does make you stand out, in a business where pretty people people are everywhere.

I truly wish you well with your pursuit of a professional modeling career. Maybe you can change people’s obsession with ‘perfection’ since you are even more perfect with a missing limb (just like a beauty spot, IMO).

And I hope you will forgive my inital skepticism and continue to “have fun” posting here.

It’s really easy guys – just stop reading my posts here on DC if you still somehow believe I’m not me. It’s really that easy. The rest of us will enjoy each others company here on DC and interact like normal people do – with mutual respect. I’m having fun writing articles and contributing on this awesome web site. If it stops being fun, that’s the point I’ll stop contributing.

Sorry to the other 99% of you guys who are just great & lovely – just a little cranky this morning. Feeling a little like Obama right now with the whole birth certificate nonsense. Nothing he can produce seems to be “enough” for the group of folks who’ve managed to convince themselves otherwise. If he produced a note from God himself confirming the place of his birth, that would even be shot down.
