Now THIS is marketing! Off the coast of Cannes, where, apparently, there’s a film festival or something, Sacha Baron Cohen decided to step into character as The Dictator, seemingly holding former Clooney ex and overall beauty Elisabetta Canalis against her will on his yacht with several armed guards.

I don’t know how to feel about The Dictator, but this marketing ploy is awesome. More faked kidnapped women in bikinis, says I!

We’ll see if the film is as clever as this little stunt soon enough.
