It’s no secret that ‘Futurama’ has some of the most devoted, borderline-obsessive fans. I mean, it’s sci-fi, a cartoon, and shares DNA with ‘The Simpsons’, so, yeah, people are going to go overboard in their praise of the show. but these fans take it to new extremes with a meticulously crafted and shot live-action introduction. It may not be a worthwhile pursuit, but it’s impressive as all getout, so take a gander. It should appeal to fans and non-fans alike.
