Run-DMC had picked quirky Austin festival Fun Fun Fun Fest for their triumphant return to the stage, no doubt serving as a point of distinction for the little festival that could. Well, enter Jay-Z and his painfully diverse “Made in America” tour in Philadelphia.
Jigga Man scooped up Run DMC to have them ruin the surprise by performing two months earlier. Whatever the opposite of “score one for the litte guy” is, that’s what we should do for Fun Fun Fun Fest. On the upside, Run-DMC is getting back together, if only for a few shows.
