How far would you go to win your weight in beer? Forty-eight competitors in Finland to a stab at the coveted prize by racing around a 250 meter track with the old ball and chain attached.

In the end it was Estonia capturing it’s eleventh title, followed by Germany and England. This should be a lesson to us all on this side of the pond. After all, could you imagine how low the divorce rate would be if every weekend you had a chance to win a case of beer just by beating your neighbor in a foot race with your wife on your back?

Just the idea of the training program for this event gets me excited. The man gets hammered off the beer he wins, while the woman keeps herself in shape to minimize the wind resistance and the weight that the guy has to carry. Genius.
